My "Destiny"

I met Courtney shortly after I moved to Colorado. Before I left Indiana, I saw a psychic, just for fun. She said I would meet someone named Terry, who would facilitate my meeting "my destiny." No joke. I thought it was silly. Until I met Terry.

When I moved here, I was running all the time and was sore most days, so I started getting massages on a regular basis. A friend referred me to a massage therapist named Terry. After she'd done massage a few times, she said, "hey, my girlfriend and I are going to a Halloween party this weekend, wanna go?" Her girlfriend was Courtney. Yikes.

We were all friends for a long time and the two of them had been struggling in their relationship for over a year (couples therapy, the whole works). The three of us had a great time and enjoyed each other's company. I had a crush on Courtney immediately but never said so. When they split up, we started spending more and more time together.

Sometimes I wonder if I did anything wrong but I know that after almost eight years together, Courtney's who I'm supposed to be with...no doubt about it. It's nice to know that Terry has found some peace now, too. We actually saw her a few weeks ago at Pearl Street Mall. It was nice to see that she's happy.

I love my family and never dreamed I'd have it so good...

I'm so glad you are back to the world of blogging!

Mama, thanks for your kind words, both on my blog and on Christine's blog. I am both flattered and humbled, and I really appreciate that more than I can say.

I don't understand, and I never will, why being a Christian and loving people without judgement is such a foreign idea. I thought that was the whole point. As for SB and those like him...I think they see a weakness, or a vulnerability, and they pick at it until it festers. They breed paranoia and fear. That frightens me so much.

How old is your daughter? Mine's 3.

I'm just glad you found someone.

And it's cool to see that a psychic's prediction panned out! :-)

Blessed be!
